This is a monstrous one and two point perspective grid I made in Sai and turned into PSD, which actually can still be opened in sai if I'm not mistaken. The reason it's huge is to make sure the distortion radius (the blue circle) will not get in your way, since people bitch about distorted perspective even though I think it's super cool.

HOW TO USE.

1) After opening, IMMEDIATELY resave this file with a new name for whatever you're working on. So you don't accidentally save over this after drawing a bunch of dicks and have to redownload it cuz you screwed it up somehow. Better safe than sorry!!!

2) Adjust grid folder's opacity in the layers panel to set the grid for how transparent you want the grid!

3) The viewport is something used to give yourself a picture plane. So snip off the excess borders, scale it or transform it, do whatever to give yourself a clear view of what you need to be drawing.

I MEAN YOU CAN DELETE IT TOO, LIKE I EVEN CARE.

Edit: I added a one point perspective layer, it's kind of slapdash and inconsistent looking of course, but you can move it around the screen since the lines stretch outside the canvas borders. Seems to work in Sai as well. But with this extra one point layer added you can make THREE point perspective! Oh man! ALSO YOU CAN DUPLICATE THE ONE POINT LAYER AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT AND SO THERE'S LINES EVERYWHERE AND YOU WON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING AT!!

hOPE THIS HELPS! CAPS LOCK OOPS

Open it in photoshop, make sure the viewport layer is visible, transform it to the size of the image you want to draw, move that viewport over the part of the grid that holds the perspective you want to draw from, and on a blank layer you can start drawing!!!

Also move the one point perspective thing around (keeping it near the horizon, usually) so you can draw stuff in different perspectives. I hope you figure it out!!!!!

No prob, rara. I was planning on doing a three and maybe even FOUR point perspective add on... It would be kind of easy to include a one point layer that can be moved around just in case for the three point, but GOD SO MANY LINES, at that point how do you even see what you're doing lol?

Also, four point perspective is only really useful for panoramas that incorporate a singular viewpoint. I think only animators really use it.

I very verrrry rarely ever use 3 point perspective. I find it's only ever useful when a.) trying to convey something very big or very small, b.) something very far up or down, or when you really want to make something look.. uncomfortable.

I dunno. Because there's variable moving parts in it that could require individual adjustments?

Just remember... if you want a PSD to to open in sai the colors have to be set to 8-bit. No 16 or 24 or 32 or whatever. And I think that's the only requisite.
